Exciting news

There have been a number of exciting changes at BlueBerry recently and I thought it was time to put pen to paper and let you know all about them.
We have a number of additions to the team in Nelson. Firstly, David Wright joined us in February and some of you may have already met or spoken to him. David most recently worked in the IT team at Nelson City Council and comes to us with a wealth of experience in IT from small to large organisations. Justin Paterson will also be joining us at the beginning of May, Justin has recently moved from Christchurch and will be manning our helpdesk, he will be your first point of contact when you call us and should be able to assist with most requests. We are in the process of implementing a new ticketing system which should make tracking and resolving your issues even smoother. Once it is all bedded in we will be allowing you to track and even log calls of your own online, although of course you’ll still be able to call us if you prefer.
On the subject of new systems, we are also implementing a new monitoring system for our contract customers. A small piece of software will be installed on your servers, PCs, and laptops and will allow the device to report back to our central management console. We will be alerted to any immediate issues such as virus infections and will be able to take proactive action on other events like disk space getting low. This is a huge improvement over our previous system and we are really excited about how this will help us maintain the stability of your vital IT systems. We can also install the agent on iPhone and Android devices so if you’d like to manage your mobile smartphone fleet, please talk to us. We can lock, change passwords and even remote wipe a mobile device if it happens to be stolen for a tiny monthly fee.
We are also proud to announce that we have just opened an office in Blenheim. The new office will be managed by Daniel Woodhouse who has run two very successful businesses over the last 10 years. Daniel has a wealth of experience in IT and is very well known and regarded in the Blenheim region. As if he wasn't busy enough with his business and 3 young children, Daniel is also a volunteer fireman! Daniel's current customers will be joining the BlueBerry family as well.
We’re looking forward to what the next year brings are very excited about the recent changes in our business and what that means to you, our valued customer.
